Spring Denim Styles
We still have lots of snow on the ground. But, I’m really ready for spring. It seems like we are at least getting double digit temps this week so I’ll take it! One way I like to start transitioning my wardrobe for the next season is through spring denim styles. There has been much debate lately whether skinny jeans are still in style. I think I will always keep a pair of skinny jeans in my wardrobe. They’re just so convenient for tucking into boots! I think adding a cropped, raw hem is a great way to update skinny jeans and wear them for spring. White jeans have become a part of my wardrobe year round and I’m loving this straight, cropped pair. I always keep a pair of distressed jeans in my wardrobe for when I want a more casual look. This pair is super flattering and comfortable! Finally, medium wash straight leg jeans seem to be the favorites among Gen Z. I’ve been wearing this pair lately and likening the change! What spring denim styles are you loving?

Winter Skin Care Tips
Every season I make changes to my skin care routine to make sure it is meeting my skin’s needs. The cold temps outside coupled with the warm heat inside has zapped the moisture out of the air and my skin. We also try to get outside when we can, so it’s even more important that I protect my skin from the cold wind. Today I’m sharing some of my winter skin care tips!
First, I don’t over wash my face, which can leave it feeling stripped. I start each morning with a splash of water and then layer on hydrating products. I love adding a hydrating essence to my damp skin before applying serums and moisturizers. I’ve also been really into facial oils this winter. I add a drop or two on top of my moisturizer to seal it in. The last step in my morning routine is sunscreen. It not only protects your skin from sun damage, but also environmental elements and pollution.
In the evening I take off my makeup with an oil cleanser. This also helps to soften my skin. Next I use a hydrating gel cleanser to clean my skin. A hyaluronic acid serum before my moisturizer helps to lock in moisture. Again, I use a facial oil on top of my moisturizer. And finish it all off with a sleeping mask.
A few other items I always keep on my bedside table are lip balm, hand cream, and cuticle oil. These are the last things I use before I go to sleep to keep my lips and hands from drying out overnight.
I hope this helps you with your winter skin care routine. Let me know in the comments if you try any of these winter skin care tips!

Winter Pastels
Now that Valentine’s Day is over I’m longing for spring fashion. Since we have about two feet of snow on the ground currently, I don’t think we’ll actually be able to wear spring clothing any time soon. One way I’m starting to incorporate a little bit of spring into my wardrobe is by wearing winter styles in a rainbow of pastels. A soft colored sweater, sweatshirt, or coat feels like a breath of fresh air this time of year. Wearing a brightly colored sweater like this one instantly lifts my mood! I love pairing a cozy pastel top with light wash or white jeans year round. See below for more of my favorite winter pastels!

3 Steps to Bright Hydrated Under Eyes
After having a baby – and the sleep deprivation that comes along with the newborn stage – my under eyes were in rough shape. Being over thirty doesn’t help, either. A few months ago my under eyes got really dry and flaky and I tried so many concealers and combinations of products to try to get bright, hydrated under eyes. I finally found a combination that works for me! Here are my 3 steps to bright hydrated under eyes.
Olehenriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream
Step 1 – Hydrate
Olehenriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream First, I apply this with my ring finger. After cleansing and moisturizing, but before any makeup. I pat it in and give it a little time to sink in. It’s rich and creamy and definitely adds a little brightness!
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector
Step 2 – Brighten
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector applied with brush Next, I use a brush to apply the Becca Corrector after my eye cream has settled in a bit. I have found that using a brush to tap the product in helps it blend well with my concealer. When I used my finger it just got really streaky. I use the light/medium shade.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer
Step 3 – Conceal
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer applied with Beauty Blender Lastly, I get my beauty blender wet with warm water and then squeeze it out in a towel so it’s damp. Then, I put a dot of the Bye Bye Under Eye on the end and pat in a triangle under my eye. Literally just a tiny little dot – this stuff is full coverage and thick! I use the shade light to help with brightening.
One last tip – I see a lot of people using brightening powders under their eyes to set their makeup. I have found that this causes my makeup to settle into every little line and make me look 1,000 years old. No one wants that. Just a little tip.
That’s it! I spent so much time trying to find the right combination of products and this is what is working for me. I did the hard work so you don’t have to! If you try these 3 steps to bright hydrated under eyes let me know in the comments below!

Cute Valentine’s Day Ideas
It’s currently a winter wonderland outside and we’re looking for any excuse to celebrate. Even though we’re staying home for Valentine’s Day, I still want to make it festive! Today I’m sharing some cute Valentine’s Day ideas I’ve rounded up!
I’ve had this felt garland for a few years now. I love hanging it on our mantle once Christmas is over so we still have some fun decorations. Some festive, cozy pajamas are a great way to celebrate. I feel like the heart print can be worn past Valentine’s Day and not be too holiday specific. You also can’t go wrong with a fuzzy sweater and a cute bow or headband to top it off!
Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? We usually don’t do much, but Matt is pretty good at surprising his girls. I’m definitely incorporating some of these cute Valentine’s Day ideas. Let me know in the comments if you have any fun plans!

10 Amazon Fashion Finds for Winter
With the holidays over I’m thinking about what I want to wear around the house for the rest of winter. While we wait on a vaccine, I’m looking for pieces to mainly wear around the house. I go back and forth each day between wanting to be cozy and comfortable and wanting to feel a little bit more dressed. And while I’m sitting around I can’t help but get sucked into browsing Amazon! Here are 10 Amazon fashion finds I’m loving for winter!
I lived in house dresses all summer and found this great winter option! It’s a maxi length with a long sleeve but still in a comfortable cotton. I love the stretchy, smocked top. It also looks as great dressed up for going out as it does with a fun pair of slippers around the house.
Speaking of fun slippers! I got this cute pair of velvet slippers with feather pompom right before Christmas. I wanted something festive to wear around the house and these are perfect! They look so cute with everything and make me feel fancy.
Since we were staying home for New Years Eve I wanted to at least get some fancy loungewear. I bought these silk satin pajamas and they are seriously amazing. They come in tons of colors and combinations of long and short tops and pants.
Another thing I’ve been wearing a lot of lately is headbands. Mostly I just don’t feel like doing my hair and wearing a headband makes me feel more put together. I also can’t stand having my hair in my face when I’m doing stuff around the house. The sherpa on this one is so cozy and screams winter to me!
Since I’m wearing leggings most of the time, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect pair. These have been my favorite so far. Their thick and kind of suck you in, plus I love the 7/8 length isn’t too long on me. The best part, of course, is the pockets! Game changer!
A sherpa pullover is a must to keep you cozy all winter. I love the big pockets on this one. Pairs perfectly with my favorite leggings!
If I have to leave the house, I’m wearing sneakers. I love the neutral colors in this pair.
A chunky cardigan is a perfect winter staple piece. I love the big buttons on this one. It’s perfect to throw over your pajamas, wear with leggings, or jeans if you must leave the house.
Another vital piece of my winter uniform is a lounge set. I love the jogger bottoms on this set. It also comes in a ton of colors, but I love this dark green!
Finally, if you’re staying around the house all day and noticing your feet or back hurting, you may need more arch support. I swear by Vionic slippers. This pair is so cute and cozy in addition to being more supportive!

My Simple Holiday Makeup Look
Most of the time, I keep my makeup routine minimal and natural. For the holidays, though, I like to make it a little more fun! Even though we don’t have any big plans, I still want to get dressed up and do my hair and makeup. Today through December 9th you can get up to $25 off at Sephora, so it’s the perfect opportunity to experiment with different looks. Today I’m sharing my simple holiday makeup look!
Step By Step
I start off by applying Benefit Highbeam liquid highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones, tops of my brow bones, the bridge of my nose, and the top of my lip. This helps give a “lit from within” glow. When I’m doing a full face of makeup, I use Armani Luminous Silk foundation. It’s medium coverage and never looks cakey. Next, I apply concealer where I need it. I love the Fenty Pro Filt’r concealer. It isn’t drying and doesn’t settle into fine lines. It’s basically the perfect concealer for me. Next I use my Laura Mercier caviar stick in Caramel on my eyelids to add a little definition. I also use it to contour. While that’s all settling I fill in my brows with a brow pencil by Tarte. Next, I set everything with Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless setting powder. This is the best powder I’ve ever used! It really does blur your pores and make your skin look flawless. Next, I bronze a little bit under my cheekbones, hairline, and jawline with Benefit Hula. I add a hint of color to my cheeks with Dior Rosy Glow. I like to add eyeliner to my top lashes only to define my eyes without making them look too heavy. I’ve been using the Bobbi Brown gel liner for years. I like to add a little flick at the end for a subtle cat eye. Next I curl my lashes and apply mascara. My favorite high end mascara is Diorshow Waterproof. The only one that holds my curl! Lastly, gotta have a red lip for the holidays. Nars Dragon Girl is the perfect holiday red.
