This past weekend my mom came up to stay with Margot while I’m in New York this week. We had such a fun girls weekend! Saturday night Margot and I picked her up from the train station and we went out for dinner. On Sunday we got up and headed to The Elegant Farmer, despite the cold, rainy weather. I love going to The Elegant Farmer every fall for apple sider donuts, hay rides, apple and pumpkin picking, and the corn maze. They had recently gotten about four inches of rain so it was super muddy, but we stayed on the wagon and enjoyed our hayride before going into the shop to buy apples and a pumpkin. The also have the best apple pie in America. It’s baked in a paper bag and the crust is perfect! I highly recommend getting it with the caramel melted on top.
